1. Overview of Interpreting Services
| Interpretation Time | This includes the full period of interpretation, from start to finish, with the exception of a one-hour lunch break. All other breaks are included in the interpretation time. If interpretation is provided during lunch, that time will also be included in the interpretation time. |

| Rehearsal | If a rehearsal is needed on the day of the conference, the rehearsal time will be included in the interpretation time. If the rehearsal takes place on a separate day, interpretation rates will apply. |
| Cancellation Compensation | If the interpretation contract is canceled after it has been agreed upon, the following cancellation fees will apply: 30% if canceled 4-7 days in advance, 40% if canceled 2-3 days in advance, 50% if canceled one day in advance, and 100% if canceled on the day of the conference. |
| Number of Interpreters | Simultaneous interpretation always requires a minimum of 2 interpreters, even for sessions lasting 30 minutes. Depending on the complexity and duration of the interpretation, 3 interpreters may be required. |
| Conference Organization | Due to organizational challenges or a lack of preparation time caused by urgent requests, an additional fee of 5-10% may be applied. |
| Briefing Fees | If a briefing is required on a date other than the conference day, a fee of KRW 200,000 per hour per interpreter will be charged. If the briefing takes place outside of Seoul, additional domestic or international travel expenses will apply. Briefings on the day of the conference will be included in the interpretation time. |
| Night Time Fees | An additional fee of KRW 50,000 per hour per interpreter will be charged between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. However, if audio or video recording is conducted, the recording fees outlined elsewhere will apply instead of the night time fee. |
| Audio or Video Recording of Interpretation | Prior consent from the interpreter is required for any recording. If recording occurs, an additional 50% of the standard interpretation fee will be charged if the recording is used solely within the client organization. An additional 100% fee will apply if the recording is shared outside the organization or broadcast. The same applies to remote video conference interpretation: if a large or undefined audience can access a shared link to listen to or view the interpretation, it will be considered as broadcasting with the 100% additional fee applied. |
| Simultaneous Interpretation with Guide Device | For an audience of 3 or more people, simultaneous interpretation without a booth can be provided by a single interpreter for up to 2 hours. The fee will be 150% of the standard interpretation rate. For sessions exceeding 2 hours, at least 2 interpreters are required. |
2. Interpretation Rates by Language (excl. VAT)
Rates for both simultaneous and consecutive interpretation are charged per interpreter.

3. Travel Expenses
- All interpreting services that take place outside of Seoul are based on the interpretation rates for 6 hours.
- Transportation fees for all interpretations outside of Seoul will be included in the quotation after prior consultation with the client.
- Fees will be calculated based on the cost of a first-class KTX ticket.
- The interpreter may take a taxi from the relevant train station or bus terminal to the location of interpretation (only with prior consent from the client).
Domestic Travel (All areas outside of Seoul)
- The interpreter will be compensated KRW 400,000 per day for travel on the day before and after the conference.
- A daily allowance of KRW 200,000 will be provided for each day that the interpreter is away from his/her place of residence (Seoul).
- For days when no interpretation service is required, KRW 400,000 per day will be charged, but no daily allowance will be claimed.
- The client will provide the fastest form of round-trip transportation.
- In principle, interpreters will travel by air. If the destination lacks airport facilities, first-class KTX tickets will be provided.
*If private vehicle use is necessary due to a lack of feasible or easy transportation options, the cost of fuel will be reimbursed. - The client will provide hotel-grade accommodation (1 person per room).
Overseas Travel
- The interpreter will be compensated KRW 500,000 per day for travel on the day before and after the conference.
* If the flight exceeds 8 hours, a minimum of 1 full day before and after the conference will be required for rest.
If the flight exceeds 16 hours, 2 full days before and after the conference will be required for rest. - A daily allowance of KRW 200,000 will be provided for each day that the interpreter is away from his/her place of residence.
- For days when no interpretation service is required, KRW 500,000 per day will be charged, but no daily allowance will be claimed.
- The client will provide round-trip airfare, transportation, and lodging fees (hotel-grade accommodation 1 person per room).
