Welcome to the Center for Interpreting and Translation
Since its establishment in 1983, the Center for Interpreting and Translation (CIT) at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) has provided dedicated, high-quality language services across a range of areas including politics, economy, and society, playing an active role in contributing to national development and enhancing Korea’s global standing. With its professional interpreters and translators trained at the prestigious HUFS Graduate School of Interpretation and Translation (GSIT), CIT has delivered impeccable quality in its interpreting and translation services for government agencies, private enterprises, and many more.
In celebration of its 40th anniversary this year, CIT continues to open up new horizons in language services to embrace the advancements of the 5G era. First, it has introduced a one-stop system that streamlines the process from service request to payment, allowing convenient access for clients via both PC and mobile device. Second, it has upgraded its website to enhance the user experience. Users can now access all information on the website without having to sign in, and related information has been reorganized in a more logical format to improve search efficiency. In addition, the website now offers assistance in a foreign language.
CIT remains committed to providing the highest-quality interpreting and translation services as Korea’s leading institution of its kind. We at CIT will continuously strive to respond to the rapid changes in technological innovations and the global environment in this age of AI, thereby satisfying diverse communication needs.
